Carol’s habit of tugging her ear was a secret message to her grandmother. Even when her grandmother died, she continued tugging her ear.
Vicki Lawrence, who often played Mama to Burnett’s Eunice, was only 18 years old when the series started. She is 16 years younger than Carol Burnett.
